Description
Angus Mountain Bike Trails are a region of natural trails just by the Cairngorms National Park, South of Aberdeen and North of Dundee in Scotland. It's got a very strong MTB community and there are trail center plans in the making.
The organization driving trail development here is the Angus Mountain Bike Trails Association (AMBTA). They are currently working with landowners, government, and other organizations with the aim of developing a trail network and center within the Angus area similar to what is in place / planned at Laggan.
They have just had completed the final feasibility study (which was overwhelmingly positive) for a proposed bike park on Kinblethmont Estate near Arbroath. The next steps are funding, planning permission, and awarding the tender to build.
