Flyup MTB Bike Park is in real danger of closing. The current A417 Missing Link construction project will impact the area the park is situated in and there is a block on finding a way through it.  The plan had always been that they would be able to have an alternative visitors centre and car park built so they could remain viable whilst the work went on, and beyond. Now it looks like they may not be able to and are struggling to get a route forward with the Highways Agency so may have to close.

As more context, Flyup 417 Bike Park near Cheltenham had applied for planning permission for a new visitors centre with a cafe, workshop, and bike rental because these major roadwork expansion on the nearby A417 road would mean the existing visitors centre and car park will not be usable for the period of the works (up to three years). It seems this plan which would have kept them viable during and beyond the construction is what is now in jeopardy.  This does not bode well.
