Earlier in the year we wrote about Feshiebridge Trails plan (led by the Badenoch and Strathspey Trail Association) to build a small trail set up in Inshriach forest, near Feshiebridge, in the Highlands of Scotland. Well, unfortunately, Storm  Gerit put a stop to the plans and the lack of an alternative site meant the plan has been canned.

The team decided to invest the remaining Trail Feathers money raised for this project into revamping two local facilities - the Anagach Woods Jump Line and the Laggan Wolftrax Black trail.

Two separate contracts were offered and Ronan Taylor won both. This week Ronan has begun working on the Black. Due to the difficulties with the ground at Laggan the Badenoch and Strathspey Trail Association have offered to help gather materials and begin repairs. Ronan will be there to talk through his plans and orchestrate the day as well as the team from B&STA.

If you’d like to go along and help repair one of the most infamous trails in Scotland they will be meeting at the Wolftrax car park at 10am this Sunday 21st April.
