Description

Smilog (AKA Smaelog) Trails, in Llantrisant, is a downhill mountain bike base in South Wales. It has a few DH runs and is maintained by the local community.

It is about 15 miles from BikePark Wales.

Smaelog (Smilog) Trails

  • There are two main downhill trails at Smilog (red grade). Popular sections are Blueprint and Pinball. The trails start from the Forestry Commission car park.
  • This is a push-up (on fireroad) Downhill base.
  • There are around 10k of hand-crafted technical, steep and challenging MTB descents with fairly moderate climbs in between.

Love this place defo recommend!

Every trail I’ve ridden for the past 6 years has been good or better, always cared for even after tree felling trails are coming back it be better!

What do you like?

The maintenance and repair of all trails in the area.

What could be improved?

Maybe bringing back some old features of pallet land but being brought back professionally and not a sketchy pallet bridge like there was before
