Elan Valley already has a myriad of blue, red, and black xc trails around the valley. New to the area in 2021 are two new purpose-built downhill tracks.

Their new tracks consist of a 1km downhill red and a 1.5km blue track with berms, jumps, and drop-offs. Trail Craft designed and built this and it was funded by a £70,000 grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Elan Links scheme, and the Welsh Government Tourism Amenity Investment Support project.

Both tracks are accessible close to the car park by Nantgwyllt Church.
