Dirt Factory really successful indoor bike park has shut its doors, now their time at its temporary home in Mayfield, Manchester, has naturally come to an end.

In late 2018 Dirt Factory teamed up with Mayfield developers U+I to create a pop-up indoor bike park on the site of a disused industrial unit before redevelopment took place. Its ethos was to create a fun and progressive indoor bike park that appealed to riders of all ages and abilities. This was more than achieved

The plan now is to secure a permanent home in Greater Manchester that will be at least three times bigger than the Dirt Factory pop-up and so enabling even more progressive trails, zones, and features, along with a bigger bike shop, cafe, rental space, education suite, and much more.

As a bit of interesting history. The Dirt Factory had a massively successful funding drive through crowdfunding and one of the Dragons from Dragon Den was an investor in the early days.

iBikeRide wishes Dan and the Dirt Factory team the best of luck and we know they will be back bigger, better, accompanied by the most mammoth truckload of dirt, no end of experience, and new ideas.
