The Freeminers Red Trail at the Forest of Dean Mountain bike center has massive plans for 2024.
Working closely with the Dean Trail volunteers and Velosolutions the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre is going to be improving, extending, and revamping Freeminers, to create a fantastic red-grade trail incorporating the best bits of the existing loop and some exciting new sections and features.
They have already started having just upgraded the section from Post 86, which on the new loop will become the first descent you get to. This first part of the project is being funded by the Dean Trail volunteers with funds raised from donations and table sales.
