Never a bad day

It would be difficult to fault this place as the trails are fantastic and I've never had a bad day - but staggering the lunch breaks of the uplift drivers and providing even more facilities to make wet days at lunch time a bit more bearable would be great....

Visited in summer and only did the blue, but it was so good we did it twice. The hire shop were friendly and helpful, and the bikes they rented out were of decent quality and well priced. The car parking is a bit pricey, but you can't beat the convenience....

Grin inducing descents

Visited here with a relative novice, slightly worried that the Blue was going to be too much. Needless to say it wasn't. Well sign-posted trails, with plenty of options for linking up the green, blue, red and black. It is impossible to get lost here and the trail maps on...

Hugely improved - now a trail centre

Swinley has now officially become a trail centre. Years of being maintained by hard-working pixies and maintaining a growing popularity eventually took its toll and the Crown Estate had to step in. They've ploughed a lot of money into weather proofing some of the existing trails and building new ones...
