I have been with Ant on a couple of skills courses and each time I learnt something new which I am using now whenever I am mountain biking. He has helped my overcome my fear of a few sections I was having problems with. He makes it simple to learn and breaks down the processes very nicely.

I have also been with Ant on a few guided rides too, in the Lakes he has shown me some fantastic routes that were bloody good fun and really put a smile on not only my face, but the others that were in the group.

His prices are very competitive compared to other skills coaches so well worth spending your cash, if only to make your next ride that bit more enjoyable.

Good Points
He has a lot of patience.
Can explain things clearly and in a way that you will remember them.
Spots what you are doing wrong and gives you pointers, even when in a full skills course group.
Has a brilliant knowledge of awesome bridleways in the Lakes.
He is the fastest person I know when changing a tyre!
Bad Points
The colour of his bike is too bright!

Good Points
As a beginner to MTB did the Rock and Roll Skills at Gisburn. Brilliant day and learned an enormous amount in a short space of time. Session was tailored to the group. Ant has excellent delivery and appears to have endless patience. There is also a Video available afterwards.
