The whole time I was at MudTrek last weekend no-one mentioned Star Trek, perhaps this was far from Nikki and Jay's minds when they set up this business. I will ask next time I stay there, because I will be going back.

MudTrek is in the middle of no-where - but in a good way. We spent a day riding trails that very few people ride and exploring parts of the surrounding Brechfa forest that you would not find without the expert local knowledge provided by our guide.

In one day's riding we rode every type of terrain you could hope for and by the time we linked up with the official Brechfa Raven and Gorlech trails we had covered practically every aspect of mountain biking available in the UK.

The guided rides can be designed to suit your level of experience and fitness - we spent nearly 8 hours out riding!

To fuel you for your rides MudTrek also provide cooked meals (breakfast and dinner) and a packed lunch for much needed refueling while out on your ride. During March they began building a great skills loop on thier own door step and will soon be offering more skills tuition breaks.

I would highly recommend a stay at MudTrek you will get absolute value for money for your food, accomodation and riding.

I have alreday booked to go back later in the year.
