The Bull Track is a private freeride and downhill MTB bike park in the woods above Crowborough, East Sussex. It's compact but packed with features for riders of all levels, built and maintained by an active local riding community who are constantly creating new lines and jumps.
The Trails
- Beginner-friendly lines with smooth tabletops and gentle rollers through the shaded woods.
- Intermediate lines for building confidence and flow.
- Pro-level features including large road gaps, gap jumps, dirt jumps and big kickers.
- A small pump track, ideal for skill-building and warming up between runs.
Visiting and Access
The season typically runs from early spring to late autumn. Opening and closing dates vary year to year, so follow the Bull Track Instagram for current updates before travelling, especially early or late in the season.
Before riding, walk each line first to assess the features: some jumps and gaps carry a serious risk of injury without the right skill level, so start small and build up. Bulltrack Bike Park, Palesgate Ln, Crowborough TN6 3HF.
By car: from Crowborough Cross, heading from Tunbridge Wells, turn left at the traffic lights and continue for around 1.5 miles past the railway bridge. There is a car park on site.
By train: around a 10-minute walk from Jarvis Brook station.
