Charnock Bike Track is a pump track and dirt jumps spot in Charnock, Sheffield. It is managed by the Charnock Bike Track Club.

Charnock Track

  • There is an asphalt tarmac pump track and three lines of dirt jumps for differing abilities.

Other Stuff

  • Charnock Bike Track Club manages the site working with the local council and community
  • The track was built in 2016 by Bike-track.com and in 2021/2 was resurfaced with 100's tonnes of new dirt for new lines and maintenance of the dirt jumps.

good trail

it’s very good the jumps are easy to go over and shered them and the pump track is amazing but one downside is it’s not big enough

Progression

The dirt jumps are great fun, lots of options and possibility for transfers. Some are fairly steep and some mellow and theres 20 ish jumps.

Pump Track is all weather and the track is well thought out. The more times you go the better you become and see more transfers and gaps appear.   

What do you like?

The pump track isn't swarmed with scooters.

The dirt jumps digging crew are always trying to make the jumps better, the first jump on the left gets that line off to a start with it being steep (about 60 deg) and gets you in the air and that continues for more steep jumps! The second jump gives you two options straight or right hip - so many options are on offer. In July 2024 they are rebuilding the right line for more steep love!

They've recently got the drainage sorted so the dirt jumps dry very quick now.

What could be improved?

Later in the evening, at dusk, midgets often come out.

Ruder and volunteer

A pump track good to learn on with many jumps to get air too. A dirt track mainly table tops but some burms and step ups and hips. Really good community don't be afraid to speak to them.

What do you like?

Can get huge air.

What could be improved?

Sometimes can get busy on roads if football is on.
