The Pengwern Arms is a community owned pub, restaurant and B&B which run by a group of volunteers with some key paid staff on a ‘not for profit’ basis.
This listed building and associated business was rescued by local people in 2011, following a two year closure.
It has provided hospitality for residents and visitors in Llan Ffestiniog since the 17th Century.
We have 8 letting rooms: 2 'triples' or family rooms (1 double & 1 single bed), 2 doubles, 1 twin, and 3 singles. All are en-suite with the exception of 1one of the singles. Continental buffet breakfast is included in the room rate, a comprehensive evening meal menu is available 6pm to 8:30pm every night except for sunday.
We have secure areas for bike storage, and a hosepipe available for cleaning.
We are located in the village of Ffestiniog which is a 5 munite drive from the downhill trails of Antur Stiniog in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Coed y Brenin, Dolwyddelan and the Gwydir Forest in Betws y Coed are all about 30 minutes. All of the Snowdon trails and Nant Gwrtheyrn are about an hour.
