Hi I'm steve,
I ride a scott mc40 2007 down here in sunny old Ratby, Leicestershire. I've spent more money on it than a bloody car would cost, can't help my self really. Not to bad for riding quite central to most of the the good trail centers such as cannock and chick sands. Go riding whenever I can got good lights for the night rides but looking forward to "T" shirt and shorts weather again. Should of been a profesional rider but was'nt plessed with the body and lungs to match. Realy enjoy riding only been into it for a few years with some of my mates! Hope to speak to you all soon!!! P.S I am a Forum Virgin, all new to me this lot!!!!!

Hi Steve.
Welcome. I ride a Scott Genius too. Bought in Dec 07 mainly coz my old Toys R Us bike was getting on and the mick taking was taking on a life of its own.
No complaints so far except for the front brake pad shearing off on my 3rd ride no damage done.
I live in Liss on the A3 on the way to Portsmouth.
Lovely hills and tracks.
Good luck with the Forum thingy.
Buster

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum. I was looking at a Scott when I was looking for my latest bike, ended up with a Trek (got it for a good price)

Cheers Phil & Buster nice to see I'm not alone in this big cycling world we live in!!! Sorry to hear about your brake. I must admit that I just did'nt get on with the LX padderley shifteri thingies so I stuck some hope mono minis on which are the dogs b**locks. Got them home and went to fit them and realised that without them the gears don't change DOOOOO! forgot to get the thump shifters at the same time, was to in ore of the brakes!!!!!!!!
All sorted now.
