I thought the track was great, the berms near the beginning of the course was GREAT fun. First lap I was stuck behind this slow guy, second lap was free to go down at my own speed which was quite quick surprisingly. At the end of the second lap I had a nasty crash right infront of the timing caravan. Ended up stabbing the inside of my left thigh with the end of the handlebars (should see the bruise). Called it a day after that.

My god I was slow 1 1/2 per lap lol

Sorry to hear that mate, i went over the bars on that nasty right downhill turn near where the marshall was stood on the first lap. Twisted my knee and banged my shin on the bars....... lovely bruise too! , completed 1st lap in 1h 06, 2nd in 1h 18 and third lap in 1h 36...... not pleased, was hoping for nearer 3hrs for the whole thing... but that's the way it goes on the day i suppose!

Agh, sorry to hear that guys, they sound pretty nasty I came off too of course - slid the front wheel right across a root and hit the deck. Fortunately it was into soft stuff and I didn't get impaled by the bike

Saw a pretty spectacular crash in the middle of a fireroad stretch of all places. I think a guy was trying to get an energy bar out of his pocket. I guess he knocked the bars and turned his front wheel 90 degrees. We were all ticking along at a fair old pace so this poor guy did a massive cartwheel - bike in the air and everything! Amazingly he got away with it and seemed fine!
