Having some time off from the swim thing this week as PVW has her SATs exams, so we spending some chill time in the saddle after school...
Todays jaunt was over to Warley.. nice and cool in the woods, little bit of light descending single track, slightly technical for Pops with a few roots and ruts for her to negotiate, and easy uphill for her on my bike while I walk hers up...
I'm not really sure I would ride there on my own, but will give it a blast round soon to see if i can find enough there..but me thinks if i going to stay local will keep to Langdon Hill(s) as no car required!! Oh we off to ride there tomorrow...to test my newly fitted (by me) bottom bracket

Another ride in the woods for me and girlie today. This time very local, up to Langdon Hills. I've used it as a training ground for the last too many years to remember and played there as a kid. THere isn't anything too technical or back breaking, but I've made up a 10-12 mile loop that isn't bad.
We only did a small section of it today as PVW wanted to session Marks Hill, A small, but fast descent with sharp right bend, following on down over afew rocks and roots to take off from, into another right hander to recover, b4 heading back on up with a last busy up to the top. I can remember it being soooo hard when I first started riding and now done still with a grin but with ease. Even PVW commented how short the loop was...so round we went again...and again...
