:_b_link__: I did my first ride with a club called The Bogtrotters last sunday they are _base_d in lancaster but also in Burnley and the outer areas . my ride was at Stubbing Tower in west yorkshire at Hebden Bridge near Halifax , it was a very nice day . i forgot how hilly it was up there on the moors really steep climbs and fast descend some were crazy not a good idea when you hav`nt been out since sept i must of been mad . lolol they were gob smack when they found out it was my 3rd ride , and i forgot how deep these bogs go to ..flying through this puddle wham . im sure some said take cover my bike did half of it in the bog .. me imagine that game coloured circles on a mat .well that was me right hand on the floor right leg balancing left leg stuck in pedal , dont be half a bike in the air me stuck Now i know why they call them selves Bogtrotters well we did 4 hours and half way through i got my second wind and was flying up the hills . it was a worthy day to test my skills bit rusty but ok next sunday i`m of to the lakes Claife Heights...

i was in the army and sment some time in Thetford training in the forrest had some laughs there i can tell you ..long time ago though a long time ago lololol whats it like for mountain biking then i remember it being not to hilly but plent of forrest there le t me know ...wayne

hey! was up there on sunday with goblinshimmer, its still flat but they have done a good job of all the trails, the red being the best of them.. its about 12miles, so you can go round a few times, or do the black(10miles) and put in the red afterwards, the cafes not to bad, and theres a bike shop. its a top place for an xc blast...

I will have to come down one weekend and have a go and see if much has changed ..it would be nice to see that place again .will give you a shout when im thinking of coming down ..cheers Tomtomks
