Just back from the Borders after having a monu_meta_l trip to Glentress and Innerleithen. Blogs are on there way, but I'm still away on hols for rest on month...lucky me!!
Must say, I had such a wicked, fun time and looking forward to a return visit. The hills, the flows, the woohoops and doops and major drop off's were just the best.
Just so much fun at the big playground of Glentress and in contrast the technicality and thrills of Innerleithen made for this great time.

We stayed at a really cool campsite with showers that were lovely and hot..just what's required after a day in the saddle.
We were suitably looked after on the site by our Scottish host, marvellous Ed. Cracking bloke, well worth a return visit just for banter and a pint oh McEwan's 70.

Took a trot over to Epping today... my first proper outing since Scotland...
The ground was slow running in places due to the amount of rainfall recently had, but I had a fair mixture of bridle path and singletrack discovery to keep me on my toes.
All good fun and just made it back after just over 3hours riding before the heavens opened once again!!
Love my bike!

had a cool ride round thetford wiv my riding buddys goblinshimmer and icklepops, was a top ride good to be out with the wee one

back in the saddle at last!!!
3 weeks out with back problems (still not right).
took an easy tootle round swinley forest nothing twitchy.
was just good to put some miles in the legs.
back behaved for most of ride though was tired towards end and starting to grumble.
will try again on weds night - build back up gradually
must remember to Stretch
