Great ride today with Tom at Swinley. Between us we are starting to piece together a half decent route.

Got in some lovely flowing singletrack in the mountain bike area. Then fun with the downhill runs round the back of the reservoir and had my first few runs at jump gully which rides like a big water chute for big kids.

Good day and great to ride with Tom again. Swinley continues to grow on me. Got a few hours free tomorrow as well so might head off to Epping or the local woods. Will see. I'm really keen to head back to jump gulley and session the jumps there soon thats for sure.

If you got a ride coming up then do please post it in the event calender so we can encourage more and more of us out on the trails.

Feels like deja vu to my last post

Great ride today with Shaz at Swinley. Took same route as last week but did it as a compete circle so the pace was faster.

Loving jump gulley and really need to dedicate a few hours there instead of a few quick runs whilst passing through.

Shaz had one off and a bloody knee that didn't phase her in the slightest. (knee pads and some decent flats for the next purchase me thinks mind..

I remembered the route until the last mile and then after nearly just impressing Shaz with my route prowess got us beautifully lost!! but saying that we were lost in the loveliest of singletrack I would have quite happily stayed lost for another hour.

Swinley has it all (well except mountains and shore

Lovely ride today at Loughton Camp in Epping. Only had two hours to ride so stayed quite local. Twas a great 2 hours mind. got there at around 1.30 and headed straight for the camp. I then proceeded to session the same couple of tabletops for maybe 2 hours solid. Stopped as a) my arms were full of silly amounts of lactic acid and b) I was late getting back as normal.

So what's wrong with compulsive obsessive behaviour I say!.

might flypost some site flyers next time as it is full of teenage kids doing stuff twice as cool on rusty old bikes in trainers and jeans with spades strapped to their back. I have lots to learn!
