No bolts of lightening to strike me down? well I shall continue. I was in the aformentioned shop over the weekend to bet some rim tape (honest!!) and I saw an absolute stunner of a hybrid bike. I am looking to purchase a hybrid in the next couple of months as I quite like a bit of road work and this one knocked me bandy!! Thing is I am a sucker for a good looking bit of kit so I was wondering whether anyone had any thoughts on this model. Its a Chris Boardman performance hybrid. and can be seen at

It costs around £400 so if there is another bike out there for similar money that any of you can recommend please let me know

To be honest with you not heard much about the Boardman bikes other than that they look like great value for money spec-wise.

I wouldn't mind one of them for my commute into work.
