This thread discusses the Content article: The Past, Present and Future of Aston Hill

The Forestry commission and Buckingham bikes (new owners of Aston Hill) meet this Monday 22nd October to discuss the future of this centre. I may / may not be able to make it and report back. I'm going to email them today. If anyone gets a head up or even has heard rumours as to the future of this legend centre then please share here.

Thinking aloud this would be on my list of priorities for future development at Aston hHill

1) Work on the four cross to reapir all the soft lips and make it safer when you come off re the slate is evil

2) For all the routes implement drainage to create an all year route maybe get the likes of Rowen Sorrel or Phil Saxena involved

3) Drive in money through sponsorship of the trails it is famous enough. If I had the money the "ibikeride black run" would be worth it's weight in Gold

4) Build more downhill routes.

5) Use some of the area to make a dirt park and soem shore. The place has fallen behind in terms on where biking is going

6) Upgarde the XC it needs more kickers and some basic shore. all could be chicken runed.

7) More facilites. They hold back on promotion because ofthe limited car park space. How about a weekend sponsored bus shuttle from the local station or a bigger car park.

8) If they are stuck for space then go down the road and build in Wendover woods. As long as you can cycle or push between the two this is fine.

any thoughts please add
