Reporting a bug or problem on the site 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 8
Folks,

I hope this doesn't sound too harsh but as the site usage grows (exponentially recently) I am spending on average 2 hours a day managing just queries and bugs. This is growing every day and is now not sustainable.

When I come online I am generally publishing or writing articles or reaching out to market the site and generate publicity and funds for it's future. In order to manage the growth of queries I am putting in place a new process.

Unless it is a critical error then all bugs going forward need to be reported either by private message to me or through the Contact _link_.

I will then prioritise and get back to you in 48 hours on the planned fix. I will schedule a time each week to manage those prioritsed bugs and issues.

I wont be taking any bugs or queries via the chat room unless it relates to a hacking or critical site issue. Sorry but when you ask me on chat I will unless critical reply with the _link_ to this post.

When reporting a bug (via private message or the contact menu item please provide as much detail as you can i.e. when the bug occured, what you saw, any error messages and frequency. Generally your browser type helps enormously too.

Any developers that want to get involved in streamlining these issues and enabling a faster fix time then please get in touch.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused by any site issue. I take them all seriously I just may not be able to fix all of them as quickly as you have been used to in the past.

Many thanks

Daniel
