Folks,

Launched today is a new homepage

This on first look is a copy of the old homepage!!! The difference being that when you hover over the _title_ you can do loads of fun stuff:..

a) minimise each section as you see fit
b) delete a section
c) drag and drop all the sections to whatever position you want.
d) send sections to friends

You can also add new modules not on the page. There is an add button at the top.

To to go back to the original default click the button to the right of the green "+" button.

Cool hey.
.
Have fun.. it's your site so better you decide what you want to get out of the site rather me.

Loads of content you can choose from to be displayed or not on the "My Home" page putting you in control rather than me of what you see here

1) skills articles (trials, kit and maintenace choices to follow soon)
2) Featured Videos (Recent Videos)
3) Recently updated profiles
4) Latest News
5) Template Chooser
6) My Groups
7) Most Popular Videos
8) Random Profiles
9) Radio
10) Ride Calender
11) Resize text (for the short sighted amongst us)
12) Top Bloggers
13) Available Groups to Join
14) Most Viewed Articles Ever

Loads more being added every week.

It's up to you what you see.

Hi

Just added some new services to this. You can now choose to add you your "My Home" page

* "Featured Trails Articles". Constant new supply of the best trails out there.

* "iBikeRide Map" - A Google map of the last 1000 visitors to visit iBikeRide.com

Also there is now a "default" icon at the top of the page thta restores the original page so you don't need to do all that complex clearing cookie hassle.

Enjoy.. more... loads more to come.

Make this your homepage and you have a page that is in your control.

Also we are working hard on resolving the ie7 issues to improve its working here. It's already significantly improved and more to come

enjoy

I'm pleased to say the previous problems with internet explorer 7 i.e leaving a blank page and often casing the site to crash have been fixed. I've worked together over many hours on the last fortnight with a specialist development agency to identify the cause and remove the faults. It's been a learning experience. The service has now been fully tested in Firefox,ie7 and ie6!!! (yes I've started testing in ie6). If you experience any further bugs then please let me know.

Hence I have now put all this functionality on the core "Home" page and removed the need for a seperate "My Home" menu item.

You can of course continue to use the homepage as normal (it looks pretty much no different) or take advantage of the little bit of magic inside and the ongoing growing customisation options as you see fit. Enjoy

Daniel
