Hope Mono 6 - Short review N/A Nice one. Bill, our other mechanic's just got these, and I got the mono minis for one of my bikes. Upgraded them with a carbon lever and Ti bolt kit recently, very impressed with them so far
Going for the distance burn this Saturday ... N/A Good Luck! Sounds like fun, especially the Devils Punchbowl I did it as part of a small group from my club, from Kingston via St Martha's Hill to Goring on Sea. We had to get to the pub in Goring to watch England V Portugal last year. We did the 78 miles in just under 5 hours, on the hottest day of the year, to find out we couldn't get into the pub because we didn't have tickets! smilies/angry.gif (Watched it on the B&B TV with a cup of tea) Good fun though! Felt it the next day when we did the SDW to Winchester - another 45 miles!
2nd March Swinley Mountain Bike Ride N/A I'm gutted I couldn't make it. Managed to do 2 (quick) laps at Bedgebury with a couple of the lads from the club. Phil, I'm racing on the 30th, not the 9th as planned. Just a warm up for Italy smilies/grin.gif Hope Dan from Swinley was ok... rode with him last Thursday night.
The February Gallery Vote N/A smilies/grin.gif smilies/grin.gif smilies/grin.gif smilies/grin.gif
South Downs route N/A great day out that it was so hot, and the climbs were cool ( apart from the long drag just after the pub stop!!!) smilies/grin.gif I'm going down there again soon ,once the chalk dries out!
Bontrager TwentyFOUR12 Training N/A We'll see about this reserve team rubbish on the day smilies/grin.gif
Bontrager TwentyFOUR12 Training N/A not as bad as our shower fixer - he's usually lying in my bed drinking my beer. I wouldn't mind, but my beer? Come on man, not the beer! smilies/grin.gif
Bontrager TwentyFOUR12 Training N/A no, he won't touch Dawn...bless her**. He just likes getting into my bed. I did catch him eating my Cheese and onion crisps the other day... I slapped him silly! **Awaits smack around the back of the head by irate missus**
Nightride - 3rd April '08 N/A That section was mad! I followed the new guy John, on the pretext that I was having a chat, with him knocking the trees and bushes out of the way for me, until he realised I should have been up the front... so I booged of once it was clear smilies/wink.gif That helmet smacking thing will make your eyes water mate - be careful! smilies/tongue.gif
Newest Garmin Edge Lets Cyclists Share Routes Wirelessly While Adding Power Compatibility N/A great bit of kit. Had mine (705) for a month now and does the business!
Rider Down - it is sympathy time N/A with knees like that, who needs enemies!? Hope they get better soon, for all humanites sake smilies/grin.gif smilies/grin.gif
Two For Fun...A Day at Afan N/A Great blog.. looks like you hada good day out
I almost hit a kid... N/A classic picture! That has tickled me with laughter. smilies/grin.gif smilies/grin.gif smilies/grin.gif
Glentress Part2 Freeride Park N/A Looks like you enjoyed yourself immensely! Great blogs
Jump it or Lump it. An analysis of risk N/A eh? what's all that about.
Fun In Thetford N/A excellent! Well done! hope you have loads of fun on itsmilies/grin.gif
Keap her clean and well lubed N/A As MartinF said, be wary of muc-off. The CORRECT way to use it is to wet down the bike to remove larger bit of muck THEN spray on the muc -oof, leaving on for only a minute or so whilst you use brushes to help agitate the gunk. Then wash off as normal. (We use Fenwicks in the shop - much nicer to use and does not damage paintwork) It may take a little longer as you want to do a part of the bike at a time , but its a nicer finish and less harmful to the paintwork. We use a silicone polish after to protect the frame colour. Another tip is to go down to your local bed shop and ask them for the bags that the matteress come in when they are delivered. These bags are massive and you can store a whole bike in it crikey me! Protects the bike from moisture, spiders etc... if you leave the bike in the shed or similar
Trek Bikes 2009 Top Fuel N/A Note - OCLV stands for Optimum COMPRESSION, Low Void
