Riding through the golf course towards the meeting point, i decided to let go of the handlebar. I can easily ride hands-free, even in rough terrain. What I didn't notice, was a bush; 2 meters ahead of where I started riding hands-free.

My handlebar got caught on the bush, which made it turn left about 60 degrees. I fell face first into the ground. I scraped my right arm and hit my head.

My catlike helmet (shield 2) cracked a bit, and the visor broke. I got up and kept riding after putting the two visor pieces in my pocket.

I again was amazed with it's protection. It almost didn't hurt when I hit my head. After analizing the damage, I actually felt like crying. Not because I was in pain, but because my almost new helmet had broken.

I was a bit stupid the next couple of hours; I asked dumb questions, and didn't pay much attention. I had one of those head-aches you get when you hit your head. That didn't stop me from riding today though (go ahead, call me an idiot).

I'm going to try to purchase an other one (perhaps two) when/if I go to the US next month.

I have a headache at the moment, and it's starting to go away as I type this.
