... Hi guys, i have been invited to a Demo day by my local bike shop (or Scott shop as it should be known). it is going to be at the Army MTB Training ground in Borden Hampshire. What can i expect from the day? Apparently trails are good and will be marked out. A mate went to a BMC Kona Demo day at Crowthorne on 1 March but found no real support. He had to wear flat trainers as bikes didnt have SPD clips. neither was there an organised guide ride asnd he didnt know the area. he was asked if he had brought toolkit and pump etc. If you were going to a Demo Day what would you want to see? My list says: Fully supported Guided rides, knowledgaeble riders and tech teams to chat and discuss bikes n kit with, skills demo, kit demo, Tea on tap.... As a Demo Day greenhorn I may Review/Blog the visit for iBikeRide.com |

... From site.... What to bring with you: All bikes will be prepared specifically for you, however if you have your own helmet and pedals feel free to bring them with you. For those of you that are looking to go truly off-road, be prepared to get muddy. IMPORTANT: In order to test ride any bike, you will be required to show a utility bill and a photo ID prior to riding any bikes. This can also be given by an accompanying guardian. |

... will you be my guardian angel Dan? I am quite looking forward to this to be honest. All ready told myself there is NOTHING wrong with my bike and this purely something I am doing to write an article for on here, nothing else. I must NOT enjoy the bikes (too much ) |
