With the first round of the Gary Fisher
sponsored G2 Revolver series only weeks away, the organisers are pleased to
announce their retail partner for the series as Swinnerton Cycles of Stoke on
As soon as the series was announced, Paul Swinnerton saw an opportunity to help promote the bikes he’s been riding for the last few years, and convert a few more riders to the way of the big wheel.
‘I was keen to get involved as I love the bikes. Particularly with the new super fast G2 fork, it handles quicker than a track bike and now makes the 29er the fastest XC bike ever. If you knock it you haven’t ridden it!’ Paul Swinnerton, Swinnerton Cycles.
Coming Soon, Round 1-The Nightrider.
Swinnertons will be at all three rounds of the G2 Revolver starting with the Nightrider at Sherwood Pines on the 19th/20th April. The course will be open for practice laps before the event kicks off at 8pm and it promises to be one of the fastest courses in the series and absolutely perfect for 29” wheels.
Don’t forget, the Gary Fisher test fleet will be there for you to demo while racing, and now equipped with Garmin 605/705 units you’ll automatically be entered into the Garmin Race in Race. Exposure will be on hand to help out with everyone’s lighting needs should you fall upon catastrophe and run out of juice before the night is over. And should you run out of juice yourself, Torq will be there to help keep your engine ticking over with their nutrition products.
Exposure will also be offering a 10% discount on their fantastic lights to all entrants when they enter the event online. Considering there are still a few hours of darkness to contend with when you’re racing overnight, having a new set of lights to help you through is a pretty wise move.
