Yo, If you are new to ibikeride (which as we only just arrived then that pretty much means anyone herethen come say hi.

I am stumpy_dan. I am the editor and evil mastermind behind ibikeride. I live in Harlow the flattest part of England, UK probably as some punishment from some heinous crime I did in a former life. I love trail riding and ride a FSR Stumpjumper 120 Expert. I spend my life traveling on the weekend to trail centers in South Wales Afan, CwmCarn), Scotland (Glentress etc)as well as getting my compass out and spending a lot of time lost in Wales, the Lakes, the Peakes, Quantocks and the Chilterns.

I also ride a Specialized Big Hit Downhill binke for the last year and have ridden this in my local dirt park in Newhall woods, got acquainted with Chicksands and Aston Hill quite a bit as well as taken it to CwmCarn, Fort Bill and Hamsterley. It is early days and we are still bonding although she allows me to do things I didn't think I ever would..

My favourite rides of all time are Afan The Wall for Trail Centres, The Black Mountains in Wales for real XC and the Black run at Aston Hill for Downhill.

I ride with mates, on my own, new people I just met and with a dowhnill club called the Groovy Rockets and and a xc club called the Groovy Tribe. I'm not a great rider but I love it and strive to move my game forward everyday. I'd always be rather riding.

yo, I'm mrtits and I cant ride the way I want to right now. I am working in Baghdad and to get my fix, I live vicariously through you guys online. I do commute most days on my cannondale chase 4.

Just found the site via Bike radar.
Got back in the saddle after years of inactivity in Feburary. Bought an 07 Spesh FSR xc, as I didn't want a massive initial outlay, incase this was to be a passing Fad. Glad to say I am as Keen now, or maybe even keener, and hence have spent a silly amount upgrading.
Anyway, up until very recently I have been riding at Cannock on a weekly basis, and also visiting various locations in Wales on a three weekly basis. I say until recently, I broke my left arm 3 weeks ago whilst on holiday in Turkey, and will be in plaster for another 3 weeks minimum
Until I get the cast removed, I am trying to keep my enthusiasm through websites such as this, so Thanks!

dude...just tape your arm really well to your torso and ride one handed....

Nice thought...But I can barely hang on with two hands! hence the broken arm
