Hi, I'm an absolute newbie as I was only introduced to MB about 7 months ago by my boyfriend, I LOVE cross country and am 'trying' to love DH (which my bf is sooooooo good at and I'm soooooo crap at!)my heart is in it but I havent got he skills to match, hence joining this website!
Have been to Llandegla, Rivington and Delamere and aim to venture further afield once my tow bar and bike rack are fitted this week!!!! (this is proving to be quite an expensive hobby!)

In case you were wondering about the picture, it was 'International Speak Like a Pirate Day' in September!

Don't worry about the riding skills, you'll get there. I only bought my bike in November and compared to where I am now, the difference is amazing! What helped with me was the fact that I did a beginners course. Am still falling on the singletrack, but that's because I try to go too quick or drops etc that I take wrong. The important thing is to have fun out there!

Hi boolie ..I know how you mean expencive on tow bar i bought one last year £200 for the tow bar and £200 for the bike rack i'm buying another one because the other was to heavy so i'm going for the thul http://www.roofrackshop.co.uk/bike/thule-towbar-mounted-bike- racks.htm check out this its cheaper ok £79.00 for 2 bike carrier hope this helps ..sorry if its to late you can always take it back and say you've found a better one
