The mast is definatlly the prize of the mountain,I stuggle up there whenever i feel brave ,but i feel as if i have conquerd the earth once i'm at the top.Its hard to believe as i creep up the neverending tar slope that there are those gifted cyclists that do it in under an hour.Ireally enjoy the views from both sides of the Mountain

Hi Howard and Nicky
Being an Ex Capetonian , i am very interested in the routes you guys ride.
Can you post them on the trails sections or on multimap.com?
i visit Cape Town every couple of years and would love to try a few trails when i am next there.
Apologies if you have done this already - i will go and look now.

If i get a chance later i will post the ride i did Satuday in the blog or trails section. It was 30 miles around Petersfield and Liss and the South Downs Way.

Cheers

Will try as well to post it later, or tomorrow. I always love the ride up to Silvermine and then the singletracks down are brilliant. The only thing I'm still struggling with is that first part uphill untill the first single track. No shade, blasting sun..I always need to take a break there, but I am getting fitter and fitter, so it does get easier.
