I bought my 661 body pressure suit before hitting the downhill at CwmCarn. Budget was a big factor and I wanted something light from a good brand.
The suit I bought was an older version designed and endorsed by Steve Peat as a racing or free-ride suit. It is very comfortable to wear and you don't feel held down by the weight at all. The main body is is vented to keep it cool in the summer. The velcro straps all over make it really easiy to adjust ti fit you snug.
You feel super strong in it with the injection molded shoulder, elbow and forearm plastic impact shields as well as the removable articulated rear injection molded spine column (of which I have seen no need to ever remove!).

For a budget pressure suit (seen it arounf the £60 mark) it is fine and you feel safer in it to take bigger drops and jumps. Mentally it protects you well. As with all body armour though they do not make you super human;)

It's main limitation is there is no significant chest plate which I would go for if buying again and I believe the materials at the mid to top end of the pressure suits have got super light and super strong.
